Exploring the Unknown – Yoga Retreat

Join us to the far north of Israel, in the Golan Heights, to change atmosphere, experience a glorious and peaceful scenery, and dedicate a weekend to an inner journey in which we’ll bring to light the hidden and the dark aspects within.

About the Workshop

Spring invites us to blossom, grow, and open our hearts. Yet, to do so, it is important to encounter first the known sub- and unconscious – on its fears, attachments, and anger.

This way we can avoid the emotional rollercoaster arising from us holding on to the illusion, and allow for joy and love to flow.

In the retreat, we’ll take some distance from the routine and our auto-pilot, direct our inner fire of exploration inwards, and our passion towards release & movement (instead of the regular game of pleasure and pain that lead to a battle).
All that, in an aim inspire us in such a way that can support our daily activity once we return home.

During this weekend
we will practice yoga poses in the spirit of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, deepen into the area of the hip and the first three chakras, walk and meditate in nature, explore the elements of earth, water, and fire, and chant mantras.

  • We’ll access the area of the hip and the first three chakras, through Yoga poses, mantra chanting, nature meditation and contemplation, and Satsangs (spiritual discussions).
  • We’ll observe the influence of the elements -earth, water, and fire- associated with the first three chakras.
  • In the practice, we’ll explore the notion of grounding, the bandhas, and deep hip openers from the primary and secondary series.
  • Through our talks, we’ll understand the mechanism of the sub-and unconscious, start dissolving those emotions and perceptions that arise out of those hidden dimensions, and learn how each encounter with the hidden is an opportunity for growth and development.

In between, we’ll be together and apart, in this magical nature reserve and peaceful settlement. We’ll eat great vegan food and simply enjoy.
