Heart-to-heart Sangha

There’s this saying “show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are.”
I would say instead “look at your friends and discover WHERE you are”.
Where you’re going, where your mind is, where your heart lies.

I have always known that my surrounding (if the people I hang out with or the environment I spend most of my time in) impacts me, but only recently I’ve realized how much.

IMG_20190529_164204_256Sometimes we think that if we’re so dedicated and devoted to our practice and path, nothing can touch us. And perhaps there are some people who are so established in their path that it’s like that to them.

I’m not there just yet 😉

I feel that around certain people and environments my heart just opens immediately, my mind relaxes, and I can see everything so clearly.

IMG_20190529_164204_249This past weekend, I’ve experienced quite tough weather conditions (46 degrees Celsius, sleeping in tents while organizing a yoga festival with 800 ppl, and even teaching).

Wow, that was intense!

Yet, I was in such a beautiful park, with natural water springs, and the most amazing colleagues to work with. Everyone’s goal was to connect to our hearts, take care of one another, and share our gifts. There was so much joy, warmth, and love. So many inspiring conversations and fun moments.

So my heart was touched and expanded, reminding me the true power of a Sangha.yogafest-team

May we all observe our relationships and environments, may we all find those who support our path inwards, and may we all use that support to share our hearts with all.

In gratitude to

  • all the teachers who’ve joined our festival and led their sessions with open hearts
  • my “partner in crime”, the visionary and master producer, Nir Haim Shakaroff
  • the ‘super beings’ in the production team who made our dreams real, despite the strenuous conditions
  • the beautiful loving participants, who were patient, tolerant, joyful and devoted throughout the entire weekend
